4. Resource Sharing Program :
One of the major bottlenecks in conducting genuine research in chemical science is the access to modern spectroscopic, analytical, other instrumentation facilities and bio-screening services.
As modern tools of research are often expensive and difficult to maintain, based on this fact the NCGC arranged a nation-wide program sharing the instrumentation other above-mentioned facilities available within the country on cost plus basis. The main objectives of this project to provide spectroscopic, analytical, chromatographic and other services to chemistry researchers working in different public sector universities on cost plus basis, which will be paid by the NCGC. This program is opened for all public sector universities, post-graduate colleges and R&D organizations.
Forty three researchers from different Universities and Research Organizations availed this facility. They represent Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, University of Karachi, University of Peshawar, Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad, PCSIR Laboratories Complex Karachi, PCSIR Laboratories GR-7, Punjab University, Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan, University of Multan, University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Muzaffarabad, NCEAC, University of Sindh, Jamshoro.
